Privacy

Companion is a relationship assistant. It stores the information you choose to share so it can remember your people, surface useful context, and help you follow through.

What we process

How it is used

We use this data only to operate Companion: understand what you tell it, save the records you review, decide when a reminder may help, draft replies you request, provide Your Companion, secure access, and diagnose delivery failures. Companion does not autonomously message anyone.

Service providers

Telegram transports bot messages and voice notes. OpenAI provides transcription and language model processing. Railway hosts the services and managed PostgreSQL database. Resend sends transactional access and verification email when email is enabled. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Information about other people

Only share information you have a legitimate reason to keep. Do not use Companion for surveillance, secret profiling, harassment, or highly sensitive information that you should not store. You are responsible for the information you provide about another person.

Retention and control

Product data remains while your account is active unless you delete a memory, a person, or the full account. Expired access credentials and operational records may remain until routine cleanup and provider backup cycles complete. You can correct memories, export your data, revoke web sessions, pause reminders, and delete your account from Your Companion or Telegram.

Billing records

Telegram processes Stars purchases. Companion stores the Telegram payment identifier, subscription status, expiration date, renewal state, and payment events needed to provide access, prevent duplicate processing, handle support, and issue refunds. Companion does not receive your card details. Export and deletion controls remain available without an active subscription.
